Eerr... did I go to the wrong blog? Wait a minute. I recognised the names ... phew... they're from 6a. Ah, the new blog skin is refreshingly different. Thank you, Christabel for injecting something new to our blog.

Reading your tags make me feel hearten that many of you are close to one another despite being in different schools now. It's only when you reach a level of comfort that you can bicker with and tease one another. Continue to do so. I've not attended any of your outings yet but would like to thank Brandon for initiating... the making of a great leader!

Time flies! My daughter is already 3 and a half months old now. Currently, I'm still on maternity leave. I'll back in school after Lunar New Year. I'll be a form teacher of a P5 class. By the way, do drop by to congratulate forever 18 on going to be yet another great mummy. She'll be on leave in March.

haha, okay. by now, you should have seen the new blogskin. LOL. of course. yup, finally. i've been wanting to change it since forever. managed to squeeze in time only to do the header, so most of the blog stays the same. yay! haha. yeah, so i'm not really sure if the header's like too messy? but hope you guys like it. =] the colours all around the entire blog seems kinda weird. haha. just trying to make it more colourful i guess. =]. yups, so if you guys don't like this skin, i can change it back. =] i won't take it to heart cause i rushed through this. haha, okay, sorry to say that. hey! i've been busy kay. =]

Place: Heritage View, BBQ pit near tower C next to the swing playground and tennis court
Time: 4 to 7 (cos you guys want to spend time with your family on new years eve)
When: Thursday aka New Years Eve
What to bring: Almost anything you want really... PSP's, cards, tennis/badminton rackets, Basketball to play captains ball, swim trunks/ suit if you want to swim
Food: If you can please bring some snacks like chips nuggets, sausages, gummies etc.. not dinner items

Hey all!

The timing for the outing is changed to 12 to 6. The reason for this is that by 7 to 8 it would have gotten dark and there would be not much things to do. Also, this makes the food part easier. Instead of having dinner or lunch, we can have a Tea/Picnic kind of thing. So do not make lunch or dinner items. We can have finger food like sausages and nuggets that kind of thing and we should also bring some chips/snacks for the thing.

The next thing is that if it rains which we pray won't happen, we will still meet at vivo and can walk around there and eat at the sky park. People can also watch a movie if they want.

Please pass this message to other 6A people who do not know.

Hi all 6A ians!! This is an important notice about our class outing!

DETAILS
-This Saturday (6th June 2009)
-Time: 2 to 8 p.m.
-Venue: Sentosa (If you are early (as in like 1.30 to 1.50), we will meet at Vivocity third level Sky park and go to Sentosa via the Sentosa express there. If you are late (2 plus or later) please go to the Sentosa entrance and call Wanhui or me and some people will bring you to where we are)
-The entrace fee for Sentosa is $3 so please bring the required amount of money
-We will be having Potluck or Picnic sort of thing in Sentosa. So I need some generous people to help make some food and bring it there. I will try to bring food also.
-Activities: We can do loads of stuff at Sentosa but we will usually be at one of Sentosa's beaches (Siloso beach). Some of you guys will want to play soccer so bring your soccer ball and those who want to play other sports like badminton or volleyball, please feel free to bring them. We can also build sandcastles if people want.

If you have any enquiries you can email me but it must be after this Wednesday cos I am at camp. So if you need to ask questions or are going to tell what food you can bring before Wednesday, please call or email Wan Hui or tag on the blog but emailing is highly advisable.

I really hope that all of us can chip in and bring some food so that we can make this gathering enjoyable and fun. Teachers are invited to come.

Hey all!

Hows everyone coping with tests? All the best to you all and I hope you will get the score you desire. Anyway, everyone seems to want a class outing in June. I was like planning to help organise it with some people but ended up being the main organiser... Surprised? Anyway I seriously will need suggestions on where to have it and when to have it. I have asked a few people in class whether they thought East Coast Park was a good location and most gave a positive remark. But I need everyone's opinion so feel free to give suggestions or comments on whether we should go to East Coast Park or whether we should go else where. I hope all 6A ians will reply when you see this post via the tagboard. I will try to collate the information and try to decide on a location. Also, please suggest which week in June is the best. I'll try to decide on that week with the most number of people that can turn up. I will try to invite the teachers also an hopefully they will be able to make it.

hey guys!! (encouraged by brandon to post=]=]). i'm sure your mid-year exams (even if you don't have one, like me, i'm sure there are still tests) are like coming up so yeah, don't be stressed about it or whatever. like just chill and take it easy. (haha, yeah, its not as easy as it sounds). i was kinda talking to mr seah online that day, and he was like "why are you sec 1s stressing yourself so much? do it in sec 2 or 4". haha, yeah, its kinda true. anyways, just wanted to post some stuff about what has been happening (about me that is. as brandon suggested) er, i guess really really busy. preparing for tests coming up and i have just completed a competition/project for cca. i guess its a competition, haha. yeah, its like last year's koobits (ahh, reminiscing about the past year...) lols, er, okay. nothing much else to say, yeah, like brandon, physical fitness test, just completed it and er, yeah, i guess nothing else. oh yeah, just something to add on. if you guys wanna have a class outing during the june holidays, provide more suggestions/options on places to go so everyone can be happy and turn up =]=]!! haha, wells, any suggestions, remember to give them to wan hui? i think you can give it to her, yeah...haha. so well, you guys MUST blog more often!! its a rule!!

So yeah, remember to take breaks (and have kitkats? lol), exercise (you will definitely benefit in 2010's NAPFA), and LAUGH!! <-random, but yeah, its true!!

Heyz I just decided to post cos this blog is almost dead besides the tagboard and really needs revival...

Anyway I just finished my NAPFA test and I am gonna get a silver cos I messed up some stations. My 2.4 was 12.16 which is relatively slow but well its a B so whatever.... School is getting more and more hectic cos like next week there are like 4 to 5 tests?? And then the homework can start piling up after a while... How are everyone's school lives?? Why not blog about it whenever you're free... There are only some people who have posted on this blog and only like 3 to 4 post about school life... Keep this blog alive so our wonderful class can always keep in touch... Really hope that the class outing in June happens and I pray that a lot of us can make it so we can get together again since December.

Everything is great in ACSI! Its not very hectic (thankfully) but I have to stay pack till 6 on Mondays and Fridays.Now we are learning about some wierd storybook in Literature. I think its A Christmas Carol or something... My new class is quite 'good' but I would rather be in 6A... I miss our class and our teachers. Looks like there has been no updates lately... and the blog has been pretty 'dead'. So I hope this will help to revive it.

There is actually one Fairfield guy in my class, Kuang Teck. He's always been acing the class tests, and he is the only one to have gotten full marks for the Mathematics class test.

Next week is an action packed week for me.

Hi everyone!!
Me again...sooo super bored cos you all don't post one lor...just to tell you all, I failed yet another 2 things!!!History and Physics!! Its only a formative assesment lah but still, its not good. But, I got highest in class for my chinese practice test!! 40/50...yipee!!!

Oh yeah..HAPPY VALENTINES DAY and FRIENDSHIP WEEK!! Did you all receive many valentines presents from friends? My seniors gave me lotsa presents, esp. chocolates! Yum...my angel gave me a flower,she bought it from sch..the sch was selling flowers on that day...

HI everyone,

How's life!!! My school life is generally quite fun and not very hectic but its gonna start to be after getting tablet pc tomorrow... Right now im learning about cells in science which is quite interesting.We're looking a lot deeper into the cell even though we do not need to yet. If anyone is interested we've learnt about Golgi body/apparatus Rough ER and smooth ER and stuff like ribosomes lyrosomes, nucleolus and some other stuff. Does anyone understand what I just said??...

Besides learning all about this stuff, secondary school is generally very fun. PE is fun when they make us run until we're totally out of breath. Its like they make us run 9 rounds around sec school track with rest. Oh yeah and every wednesday we have mass run where the whole level runs around the perimeter of FMS(S) FMS(P) and ACJC which is not very very long. Thats about 1.2km. The rest of our lessons are also interesting and fun especially Home economics (the cooking part) cause its quite easy to score marks and its loads of fun at the same time. Today we made shepherds pie (havent really tried it yet ) but i think its good!!!!

My class is also a fun bunch of people although i seriously miss 6A... our classroom... our teachers... our friendships... the memories are unforgettable. I really hope that we all still kic (keep in contact) for many many years to come...

Hi you all!
RGS is sure quite stressful after all..like almost every night,I dream that I don't finish my HW.Hai, nightmares are so real. I forget to bring or do at least 1 thing per day...uhuh,I got booked already!!!!Not fair!I forgot to bring my thermometer and was booked!!!This is my 1st booking!!!I hate this!We(my other friends who also forgot to bring) got a telling off by PRINCIPAL leh...this is too big a punishment lah, by my friend was booked on the 1st day after orientation already, plus today's booking(so altogether two)...DC for three bookings under the same category. DC for 1 teacher's booking.I almost got a teacher's booking because I dunno why but I just suddenly forgot 1 day that we could not use handphone in class. But my Math teacher was very nice, she let me off with a warning...

Then, big thing!! Compos in sec sch are upon 70. We had to write one abt sth interesting that happened during orientation week...guess what?I FAILED!!!! I only got 32/70!!!!That's not the worst part, Aria and Jasmine failed too!!!Jasmine got 33 and Aria got same as me...nooooooo...so sore...Plus, I think I failed my Physics FA(Formative Assesment;not counted) lah. Dun really understand it...

Ohyeah, i got into Band...yay...(sounds so fake)Trainings are on every tues-thurs,now I have a packed schedule:
Monday-nothing at the moment
Tues-Band prac.
Wed-Band Prac & Piano lesson(not confirm yet)

At least I can look forward to tmr,some of my friends invited me to watch movies...you know,"Bride Wars"...Although I don't think it would be very nice, its still a way to escape the hectic Raffles life!!Sometimes I wish I did'nt go to Raffles lor,rather had gone to NY or MGS or sth...But the ppl here are very nice lah, we've got an angel-mortal system too!Sec 2 is the angel of sec 1.Like 206 is the angel of 106,101 is the mortal of 201 so on and so forth.And the seniors are super nice...except for the fact that dunno why but they like to talk about boys...There was one time I walked into the classroom and the seniors were there.They were talking abt which sch had the most handsome,cute(disgusting)boys...ewww lor...they all can't be happier if they could have tea party with the boys...k,I'm gonna stop here for now,have'nt finish my HW!!!Cya guys soon!

I know this post is quite late but still,hope you all had fun collecting ang-bao.I guess that everyone would have gotten less this year compared to last year..lol.Me too!!But I had lots of fun lah.Esp. at my maternal grandmother's hse.Almost all of my cousins are older than me or around the same age,so we can link better?compared to my cousins at the other end,they are 1-8 only.At my maternal grandmother's side,my cousins and I played games,ran around the whole estate and I did gamble!wow!!no lah,only played black jack,but we did gamble money.amongst ourselves,me and some other cousins gambled like $1.My cousin won $18 lor,I did'nt win any money..neither did I lose any.It was just for fun lah.Then we did the "mixing of vegetables"thing..you know,the pulling vegetables or stuff up..aiya,I just can't think of the name for it at this very moment..so just try to understand it.lol

School did'nt celebrate CNY..boohoo.Actually,it did but so minor celebration that I don't even think its even called celebration.Let's just call it performance.They had the performance during 1 hr(I think)assembly.Ppl fr NCC Land went to perform lion dance for us.There was this super skinny girl who was doing lion dance.After the dance,the performers were all sweating as if they had just ran 1 whole round around Singapore non-stop.Then there was angklung,singing by Malay and China ppl and some jokes.Then what else was there,let me see..oh yeah!no more.WOW!Then we still had lesson PERNORMAL and no early dissmisal...Weirdly,they asked us to wear our costumes and attire on nxt wed..and I forgot to wear,and I vomitted on the bus,so yeah,nothing much after that.

Hi!Hav'nt been posting lately because I come home from sch only at 3++ and I will be very tired after that and I will sleep.Yup...sleeping is another of my hobby!!xDI will sleep till dinnertime..(long time huh?)zzzZZZ..OK!Enough of snoozing.Yeah,so that's basically why I don't post so often.

Orientation week is over!It is so sad...orientation was sooo fun!esp. camp,except for some parts..like when we were playing station games,we were told we needed to pick someone as gladiator.Everyone in the class had to "protect" the gladiator so as not to let her get taken pictures of by some other ppl.And just because I was small(actually,smallest.),...I was picked!I was suffocated lah!!This girl(srry to say but quite fat)squashed me at the railing..压-ing me down on the railing when sme with the camera came..argh!!new New Year's Resolution-not be the shortest in class by year-end!!(not so hard cos also got another quite short girl in my class..)But other than that,evrything else was quite fun..:D Like we were introduced to our PSLs!!(peer support leaders)They are very enthu. and fun!Btw,I had many talks(if you plus all the hours together..almost two days!!not exaggerating)And camp night was fun!!super fun!Our PSLs and Prefects performed for us.Our sec 4 Prefect,Trisha Ng, danced a song"son dambe" for us.She was disgusting..x(She already had two vids.of her dancing on youtube!!lol..And oh yeah,I'm in class 106.not the most enthusiastic class but still enthusiastic(everyone in RGS are trained to be hyper..and we've got tons of cheers..everyone says them very enthusiastically)and a great great class!Also,I'm in tarbet,red hse!!Our hse is cool..some of my seniors are in it.Our mascot is the bull and our theme for the year is Tarbet Timetravellers.Why such a weird name you may ask?The houses are named after principals.Tarbet is the oldest of them all..they are:
1)!!!Tarbet-red(mascot,bull!)
2)Hadley-purple(mascot,...can't remember..lol)
3)Waddle-yellow(mascot,duck)
4)Buckle-green(mascot,elf)
5)Richardson(mascot,genie)

Just started lessons on Monday but I felt sick,vomitted and had diarrhoea in sch,so I went home and to see a doctor.Just some food poisoning..again..like 5,6 time I got it already.I felt much better on Tues and went to sch.We had to buy alot of files and things and bring stuff,wrap stuff..so yeah,rather busy.But I made alot of friends.Also,our CCA selection just started!(sooo late)so I went for guitar ensemble trials but I did'nt get in...boohoohoo...but nvm,who cares abt guitar!!Lol..I also signed up for the following trials:
1)Chinese drama
2)Band symphonic
3)Choir
4)Handbells ensemble
5)Girl guides

I attended Girl guides today so..will get the results tmr..but results are'nt confirmed be'cos there are two trials.And,yeah.They are all performing arts and UG.I have cousins in Band,(pri. and sec. sch),GG, and choir(cousin's gf..to be exact..)Found out that alot of the Fairfield Methodist seniors are in the same class.Lucky them!They are all also in the same CCAs.And Kimberly(my mentor)grew her hair.She looks pretty,but I almost could'nt recognise her.They are all in softball CCA.Today was fine,just need to buy more files and stuff.And my friends all played crazily!My friend called Pei Qi accidentally threw a handicraft behind the whiteboard..lol..so our seniors from 206 had to come help us.Turned out,they had the same experience.Oh yeah,we have angel mortal too!in class and level.sec.2 -->sec.1.sec. 1-->classmates.hahax..can't wait for GG results!!No trials tmr but I have one the day after-Band.Wish me luck!

FMS(S) orientation

HI everyone,

I'm gonna tell you about what happened during fairfield's sec 1 orientation...

DAY 1
First day of school...after assembly we ( sec 1's) all went to the hall. At the hall we had a short talk on the expectations of us sec 1's. After that, we went to the indoor sports hall bottom floor and played quite a few ice breakers that were extremely fun. During the ice breakers we were properly introduced to our SL's ( student leaders). They all seemed extremely nice people and were also very enthusiastic about almost everything.

After ice breakers we had recess.following that was like a few talks that were quite long and boring (no offence to the people who talked...). After talks we went to meet our form teacher(btw im in 1E'09) She's seemed quite nice and seems quite young like 28 to 31?? Had lunch after that then had another talk!!! was about National Education and Service Learning. A bit better this time laughed quite a lot. We had even more ice breakers after that and then we had debrief... During debrief the head of IT came and told my class had to buy tablet pc and it is like super ex 2500+++?? Thats sort of the end of day one now on to day two...............

DAY 2
Started with some ice breakers and then went to hall to learn SCHOOL SONG HYMN AND CHEER. I was like gosh school song and school hymn primary 1 learn already now learn again...
After that it was games to win flag making materials...
It was a bit dirty and wet games. I'll only talk about the game i felt was the most fun. It was like this big styrofoam box with like millions of holes in it and the some of use were supposed to put our fingers in the holes while a few other people got water and tried to fill the styrofoam box without it leaking. The team with the most water wins. And we won yay cheers bla bla...
after that went for lunch then we went to the hall to bid for flag making materials. My class had the most points so we could obviously bid for stuff with more ease. yeah that was the system we used the points we got from the games as money to bid for materials. My class got glitter and paper clips lol
after that we went to the bridge to design our flag and create a class cheer. Our flag was very nice and our cheer was quite original i think... following that was learning of the installation song. and then had debrief again.

and again thats the end of day two on to day three

DAY THREE
More ice breakers lol...and then it was practising for class cheer wooh!!! had recess and had team building games after which. Went to the hall upon finishing games and learnt mass dance the song was soulja boy lol... We had more practice for class cheer and then we had the competition. The teachers said the results would be on friday. Had debrief again and then everyone was getting more and more emo as this was like almost the official last day with our SL's and orientation.

The next two days were lessons and cca tryouts

Friday 9th January 2009
It was lessons and after school was Uniformed Groups showcase.
The big night!!!
we had dinner while the SL's were doing sharings and reflections for orientation it was very emotional and sad as our SL's said a lot of encouraging things... at like 8pm all the sec 1's assembled in the hall with the parents as well. There were a few performances like the choir and band and then they gave out awards the important awards were the class cheer award and best class award. The class cheer award was given to 1g and 1h. But 1E got the best class award wooh yay!!! We were over the moon.
We sang the installation song and the school gave the new school badge to every sec 1. We said goodbye and that was the end of orientation...

Thats all for now that was long i think dont mind my amazing number of times I used the word after...

first & second day of school

hey guys!!

the first day of school in NYGH was okay for me.. so sad im not in the same class as the other fmps girls.. :( so i went to my class without knowing ANYONE. our form teacher, Ms Foo, was very fun-loving and friendly, and she made us laugh many times :D

during recess, i met up with wanhui, chloe and xinyi (yes, xinyi is in NYGH fyi) . didnt eat anything..

during lunch, i went to sit with wanhui, chloe and xinyi again. wanhui and i wanted to buy japanese food at first, but we found out the stall had no more food left, so we went to the chicken rice stall that xinyi was queuing at. btw, thanks xinyi for letting me cut queue!! ahhh ~ dont scold me for being bad ~

day 2

today is SUPER fun and i think tomorrow will be even better. we had sports CCA selection for today, performing arts will be tomorrow (i think).. the FUN-EST activity we did was jumping on the trampoline! well, its not the small type of trampoline.. it was like.. HUGE!! it was SO FUN!! at first, the senior held me and we both jumped together. i couldnt balance very well. for my second try, i was supposed to do it by myself. i did MUCH better! maybe its because the senior and i were jumping at different times in the first try, so it feels kinda weird..

went for volleyball, netball, shooting, soft ball, wushu... too many.. cant remember..

the last CCA selection for us.. track and field!! when we were supposed to run 1 & 3/4 rounds on the HUGE track, it started raining after we ran finish 1 round. so "HENG"!! so we went to the shelter. the school was so nice, they gave us a bottle of H-TWO-O each! :D i almost drank finish the whole bottle cus i was super thirsty & tired..

went back to class, changed into uniform.. wait.. did i talk about the angel&mortal game? lol. this game is played among the sec1s and 2s. the sec2 seniors are our angels! btw we have no mortals. everyone in my class received a letter from their angels in the morning. they are all so friendly & fun (hyper too? lol)! my angel gave me a sweet letter + a marshmallow sweet! she was so sweet!

ahh.. all my energy drained already.. need to rest.. tomorrow have audition for chinese dance! must get in! wish me best of luck!!~

(edit: it wasnt audition for chinese dance. it was signing up for auditions for CCAs. tmr is the audition for chinese dance. so nervous!! -7/1)

btw, tomorrow we will be having telematch & amazing race! and they told us to bring an extra t-shirt cus we would get wet! tmr will be extremely fun!!

27th December 2008-6A class outing

Hi everyone!
I am blogging about this outing for the sake of those who did'nt go and(or)could'nt make it on the 27/12/08.
Well, first the group of us girls, Christabel, Phoebe, Angela, Jasmine and me went to west coast park at abt 12++..Aria and Nicholas was already there. And so be'cos of some changes that I made to myself(read my previous post or was it the one before?)I was so embarrased and kept covering my face with a paper bag.But I sill had to take it off in the end..no big deal lah..waited a while more for some others. i will spare yi jie the embarrassment. (can go read yi jie's blog or chris' one for details.) then after about 20 ppl came. no teachers came/went by the way, sadly? lol.
we all ate lunch at macdonalds and then went to play(btw, the pyramid is open!!)of course,I missed out a lot about the teasing that was going on while everyone arrived..(you all can add on anything if you want to..or you can also tag it)
Then we went to play..we had such a great time lah..some ppl rollerbladed, some cycled, some climbed pyramids, (everyone climbed at least 1-2 times), some played sand (built pyramids), some(you know who)threw sand at others,some played flying fox..aiya,we played so much I am unable to list them all out here.Just that we did lots of fun stuff..
Then we went to Blue horizon to have the BBQ thing. There were chicken wings, sausages, satay, fried rice, wan ton. The food was nice,worth the $5(I hope). just in case you don't understand what i mean, we had to pay $5. Then some of the boys went swimming,like Ding Ning, Avril, Nicholas, Rui Yang, Wei Jin and Shawn. And can you believe it? Nicholas said (from his view in the pool..it was dark) that I looked like Gertie's brother..hello?he must be blind..in what way is the resemlence?So I said I thought he was Ding Ning..was it too harsh(I don't really care)
Then we played Badminton at a wide area on the 4th storey, got scolded by security guard because of being too noisy (nicholas shouted exactly when the security guard came!!) but it wasn't his fault, there WERE residents staying around, i would have complained too if i were them. and then we played some moore at the playground before going back home. best west coast outing ever. one word. F-U-N.
Well, hope that 6A'08 can keep in touch and have more gatherings because it really was so much fun!(Although I got sooo many mosquito bites..)

Dear all,

Some of you are concerned that this blog is getting more passive. Don't worry too much about it. I personally feel that by knowing that this blog exists is great as it provides us with a platform to keep in touch with each other many years to come. You'll probably get busier in the months and years ahead. If you have no time to type in a few words as frequently as you wish, at least, you know that it is always here for you and your friends to catch up with each other. Thank you Christabel for making great efforts in setting up this blog and including music and all.

Christabel asked which sec sch the boys are posted to but did not seem to get much reply. Allow me to furnish you with more information of those MIA based on my first viewing online (hope the boys do not mind). It may not be the most updated as I understand that there are 2 classmates who may have appealed for another sch but I've not heard from them since. Benedict, Ding Ning, Axel, Nicholas and Harren should be heading for ACS(I). Frederick, Jakin and Rui Yang to Nan Hua High, Kai Chin and Wei Chin to RI, Hanzhe to Dunman High and Chee Peng to Hwa Chong Institution.

I asked for help on how to upload pictures but nobody responded. sob. Could only then placed photos I have of you below. Enjoy them- they're better late than never ;)

I am unable to make it on 27th Dec, so please keep me update of any latest development via email or blog. It'll be great if photos could be included too. Enjoy yourselves on that day.

Hi everybody!Decided to "drop by" our class blog.Boy...it is pretty...unalive(??)..oh forget it.. it's almost dead.Like there are not many ppl posting(esp. boys..)well, I decided to bring some life to this blog by telling you guys what happ. @ my orientation.(why does this sound so pathetic?)
ermm..yeah. When I first stepped into RGS, I was like:wow..so many ppl(of course)and also although Raffles is a great sch,the compound is'nt really wonderful..it's quite dark..compared to NYGS, which when my Dad drove past, I was like:wow!so beautiful.Well, when I stepped in, I saw Aria and Michelle.We did'nt talk much.The student leaders then took our attendance and gave us a whole list of forms..although I don't know what SBT stands for and what it is(saw it from Chris' blog..is it sth special?).In the hall, we were given a long boring talk that I did'nt really understand..and you could'nt imagine the no. of RGPS students there was..abt half!The many many teachers there talked about auditioning to get into CCAs and much more..which for me meant that I stand NO chance for getting into most of the CCAs..lol..so same as Chris,I'm also considering girl guides.I heard fr my cousin who is in it that it is very fun and educational.so..yeah,it is on my list(srry to Amanda when I said that I would not be joining GG @ first.I decided to consider it after some thought..hehe..)
Then we were brought to classrooms and we received a RGS goody bag(as so I refer it to)and there were some RGS socks..lol,a tie a folder and some other stuff.(Amanda was in the same group as me 'cos of the alphabetical order thingy in our names..)Then we(my mom, me and Amanda) went to the fitting rooms to see the uniforms.I did'nt need to try anything,just took all XS except for the P.E. t-shirt which I took an S 'cos the shirt was really short!In the end, did'nt buy the uniform there as the queue was too long..Amanda too..
That is about all,excluding the fact that we were informed that we needed to stay back every sat for hse pract!wow..I miss pri. sch..sec sch seems a little scary,don't you think?

PS.I heard from my uncle that RGS is going to shift to Bishan so that they can get closer to R.I.?That does'nt make sense does it?I thought RGS did'nt want to merge with the other two schools so why do they still..?maybe it's for more interaction but it's still weird(and pretty inconvenient too:(..)But maybe I will already be in JC by then.It will still be the same then..:D

Secondary school posting

Hi everyone!! I should think that all of you have gotten your posting results.Me too!!Did many of you worry about getting into the school of your choice?Then,hope you got into the school that you wanted!!
So yeah..I got into Raffles.A little bit scared because my mum knows many ppl whose daughters are in RGS and they all said that the teachers don't teach much and when they ask you to do HW, sometimes they don't collect and you have to go find the right answer on your own.So it involves alot of independence and self-discipline..which is quite tough..Also,some of those parents who have children in RGS told my mother not to be surprised if I fail alot of my subjects in my first few years.Plus(wow,alot huh?) they have alot of projects to do..and the projects are not grp work..they are done on your own..and they are very time consuming.Since CCA is a must in sec. school, you have to manage your time very well in order to be able to cope.
Anyway, now everybody does'nt have to worry so much already!!Looking forward to the BBQ outing.

Hi 6A!I If you have read the title of this post, you would noe tt this post has got to do with some coincidents that I have gone through(??) during this holidays.
1.I met Benedict and his parents at Ulu Pandan CC when I went to attend my youngest sister's graduation concert.(I wrote about this in my previous post)
2.I met(saw)Mdm Cheah, her husband and 2 kids at IKEA!!Of course, my 1st reaction was to run away.Luckily (?),my mum did'nt see Mdm Cheah.So I "escaped".I did'nt plan to tell my mother about it until I was a little further.When I finally did, this was our conversation:
Me:Mummy,I saw Mdm Cheah, her husband and two kids just now.
My mum:Really?Where?
Me:At one of the display rooms.I did'nt tell you 'cos I knew that you would definitely talk to her...haha
My mum:Aiya!Do you know that ppl meet when they are fated to do so(sth like that..not exactly sure)
Me:hahaha..
3.Last but not least, I met Cai lao shi at clementi after I followed my mum out 'cos my sister had to go for Yamaha class.I guess she was also bringing her daughter for lesson.

hey! i was just thinking about class outings. other than the bbq one, are we having any others? its really a long time before the 27th. okay, even if we don't have one in this holidays. i really hope that we'll have one maybe in 2009's june? hopefully. i was just reading 6A 2007's class blog, they just had a class chalet! gosh, i'm super jealous that they still keep in touch (hopefully we'll too) haha. kays, so yeah, i really hope that we'll have more class outings! i know that almost everyone is having a boring holiday. so if you have interesting stories (trips or just about a fun day.) to tell us please, PLEASE post. i'm bored to death. literally.

Oh ya, i have been attending R.I.'s training lately ( 4 times a week! ) Ohhh... my muscles are aching everyday. But the rafflesians in the 'track & field' team are very friendly ( 2 days and i've known everyone ). Some trainings are so tough you run 2km just for warm-ups! Every Sat, we train at McRitchie reservoir ( long runs [ as long as 8km]). We meet a few schools training there
but i don't see any of you ( guess either you all don't like running or that you are not in the schools training there )

hope i meet 1 or 2 of you in competitions... haha

2008 December Holidays

Hi everyone!! How have all of your holidays been? Many of you are having boring, meaningless holidays where you do nothing but coop yourself up at home right? Me too..actually school is better than this..even if Mdm Cheah,Cai lao shi and Mrs Yan pile us up with HW..xp
During this holiday,I have been doing nothing but playing computer games, reading and watching TV. Of course I admit my holidays were'nt exactly that boring. I had my Pri. 5 cousin over at my hse for 2 days.We played games and went cycling. She is a very fun girl so having her over made my boring holidays(back then)much livlier. And she also found out about the speed typing test link at Christabel's blog and was very interested..so she did it almost everyday and from my latest news, she can do 63 words per min!wow!I can only do 29 words per min..x)..
After that nothing interesting happened.Nothing until yesterday when I went with my family(excluding my dad) and my three cousins,Joseph,Faith(Pri.1 fairsians)and their baby sister Sarah,with their family(including their dad..lol)to the zoo.We went to the kids world where they have a new water world.It's quite fun.they have a big bucket at the top where water comes out when the bell rings...like at wild wild wet.
And, there is a flying fox,those kind of exercise playgrounds and a mini water place where you go onto a boat(just some wood and nails)and move to the other side by pulling onto a rope that is connected to both ends of the area.Had a great time!
That's the end of my interesting holiday.

PS.Just some silly things that happened to me this few months: My specs broke on Sunday so I did'nt wear my specs for a whole day yesterday(superglued it back..the specs shop Auntie said it can't be fixed so you will see me wearing new specs on our BBQ session-in case you don't know..which I think most of you don't, I tied my hair..Ps don't laugh when you see me..),also I met Benedict(so he knows about the above sit.)..although it is more of unfortunate.My mum talked to his mum and dad and I got really embarrased. My mum kept saying stuff like"your boy is the shortest boy..Lycia is the shortest girl"things like that..awww..
And also, heard that almost everyone knows about the trip that was organised to watch "beverly hills chihuahua" and those who were not invited are very angry.It is of course very natural for all of you to feel angry and I am terribly sorry.Cause the organiser thought that it would be hard to cope with many ppl so not many ppl were invited..I also did'nt want to tell you all(espescially my good friends)cos' I thought that you all would be angry. Looks like it is worse now..ooops.Sorry again..really did'nt mean for this to happen.Sorry. Hope you can forgive and forget...

hey guys. i have a serious problem to tell you all about. you know our class outing which is on the 27th December, it totally crashes with another class' one. its so un-believable. same date, same place, same time. gosh, organisers? help!! kays, erm, i know its seriously late now (erm, its like 12.35 am) , but just gotta blog about this. i'm trying to calm down. seriously. i'm like hyperventilating away.
6G is also having a class outing on 27th December, west coast park, 1pm. ugh. kay, i was just looking at their blog and saw the post. so go see for yourself if you don't believe it. http://6gs-08.blogspot.com/ organisers? think of a solution?! you wanna just go there, and meet them there? or you wanna change date? organisers!! please help. oh, gosh, i'm like dying already. =x

Class BBQ-MUST READ!!

If the post at the upcoming events wasnt tht clear..i'm postin it here..jus in case..if u are wonderin if we're still havin the movie and outin..yes..most prob.

Class BBQ:
Date/Day/Time-27th dec 08..saturday...12pm++...
Venue-west coast park,Blue horizon BBQ pit(denzyl's hse)
Gather at Mcdonalds.you can have your lunch there if you dont mind..
Bring-any type of games..mostly sports though..
an extra set of clothes in case we are playing water bomb..(not too sure yet)
$$ for lunch
Food and drinks will be provided for the BBQ..it can be considered as dinner..i think...
we will be inviting teachers..XD...

Hello all,

Just like teacher Cai, I'm entering words into a blog for the first time. Can I be considered to be a blogger now?

Some of you were probably over moon when you received your results yesterday while others were not so. Whatever you obtained, I know all of you have given it your best when you were at the examination hall. That is what that really matters. Though the results did leave marks in our

lives but, hey, cheer up, for PSLE is but only a small component in us. I told you yesterday that I would analyse the results and let you know more (just a teeny weeny bit more) about how well the class has done. I wonder if you would be comfortable to have the analysis posted on this
blog as it would be feature many can see.

If you recall, Mrs Yeo took some photographs of us. Should the photographs be posted here too?

Hmm... we did not say a proper 'bye- bye' in class so ... till you hear from me again, 'Thank you and good-bye 6A. ' You have all been great kids!

although i'm only 6 yrs older than all of you, now i admit i'm old cos' i juz can't keep up with IT. all of u r so gd! i will “不耻下问”。it's my 1st time posting on a blog! erm... a bit "怕怕"!

20th november 2008 -PSLE results review

Hi everyone! Are all of you happy with you're results? I think everyone did great, especially Jasmine! 278 is like..such a great feat! But still, I cannot believe that I got 271..compared to my prelim-265, is so much difference. It is also my first time getting top 5 in the cohort. I am over the moon!!

Of course..there are some unbelievable(surprising too!)news! Aria did'nt get top 5(or did she?I don't know if getting the top 5th highest mark is considered.). But she you need'nt be too upset about it, Aria. I think you still did great! And..that silly Wei Chin did'nt get top 5 either!!haha..xD..that silly guy..I finally beat him!!yay..however, his evil, naughty, rude and "high and mighty"(of course I'm a little sacarstic..) brother actually got 2nd!I don't know if I should laugh or cry.Laugh because Wei Chin must be crying like a baby back home(no one had better tell me to comfort him!!**esp. Wei Jin..and of course I'm just joking..xp). Cry because he did so well..no lah, of course I should be happy for him.Congrats!

hey everyone. erm, i guess this is the new 6A blog. i hope that you do like that picture, formatting and everything else. I just hope that its not too girlish or guy-ish.
Firstly, when blogging or tagging, please! no vulgarities should be used.
Secondly, on to the "upcoming events" section. organisers for any class outings or any gatherings or just any events that you would like to announce to the class, you can add in the date, place and time of the event, if you know how to add it in that is, or else you can tell anyone who knows how to and we'll gladly help you add it in.
Thirdly, the "links" section. If you would like to let the class (and others) know about your blog, you can add your url in yourself at (duh!) the links section. (I'm sure that if you have a blog, you'll know how to add it in). So erm, i guess that without the person's permission, you're not allowed to add in his/her blog address. got that?
Fourthly, kindly tag at the tag board and please try to use an obvious name that everyone can recognise but i guess its okay to remain anonymous.
Lastly, the blog posts. Erm, anyone can blog (add pictures into blog post please do if you have). Please sign off with your name (you can remain anonymous if you want). I should have ~~(i will soon.)~~ send you the user name and password. Whenever there is a class outing, organisers, can you also please blog about it, with details and everything. So just some suggestions on what you can blog about: suggestions on what to do for the holidays; how you spent the holidays with your family/friends; suggestions on how to improve on this blog and lastly your school life (if it ever reaches 2009, holidays are just getting too boring.)
